HOLLAND PUMP ADDS ROTARY WELLPOINT

WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA - September 19, 2001 Holland Pump Company, one of the largest dewatering companies in the United States with 5 branch offices in Florida and one branch office in Norfolk, Virginia, added an 8" and 12" rotary lobe wellpoint pump to their line.

The 8" rotary wellpoint displaces 2.656 gallons per revolution at maximum continuous rating of 450 rpm = 1200 rpm. Powered by an Isuzu 4LEI diesel engine, PTO with 3.75:1 ratio. The 12" rotary wellpoint pump is powered by a Perkins 1004.4 engine, PTO with 4.21:1 gear reducer. The pump displaces 5.312L gallons per revolution at maximum continuous rating of 450 rpm capacity = 2400 gpm.

Features of Holland's rotary wellpoint include: (1) ability to pump with pressure which means, discharge water can be conveniently placed; (2) fuel tank has a minimum 60 hour fuel supply which means operating over the weekend without refueling; (3) rotary lobes can be changed without disconnecting the piping, decreasing the amount of downtime; and (4) an auto-oiler which increases the life of the system. These features combined allow for more efficient pumping and provides a long and dependable service life. Another key feature on Holland's rotary wellpoint is the "Pump Supervisor", an on-board monitor which will advise you on your cell phone or pager if the pump turns off or stops pumping and why. HOLLAND INTRODUCES "THE SILENCER" - SOUND ATTENUATED POWER IDEAL FOR RESIDENTIAL AREAS

WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA - September 19, 2001 Holland Pump, one of the largest dewatering companies in the United States with 5 branch offices in Florida and one branch office in Norfolk, Virginia, assists Piute Directional Drilling (PPD) using Holland's hydraulically driven submersible (HDS) 4 to pump drilling mud with heavy sand in the 60-70 viscosity range. According to Raymond "Whitey Staggs, Superintendent of PDD, "Holland's pump did a better job than the other company's suction lift pump we initially used.

PDD's President, Don Loncarich contacted Holland Pump to take over on a job that had come to a halt because of the inefficient suction lift pump. The Holland's rugged HDS pumped 320 GPM of thick, drilling mud with heavy sand 600 feet fromPDD's receiving pit back to the drill pit. Overseeing the job, Holland's Vice President, Eugene Lant, was pleased with the results and commented, "We were pumping really thick stuffáand had no problem. Whereas Holland's submersible is able to pass up to 3 solids and can run dry indefinitely, competitors' suction lift pumps tend to clog when solids are present and cannot run dry without extensive and costly damage.

"I would recommend using Holland Pump on all of our jobs, announced "Whitey Staggs. Tim Monk, Vice President of Piute Directional Drilling boasts, "When we need pumps we'll be calling Holland Pump. Holland manufactures a complete line of 4-24 hydraulically driven submersible pumps (sound attenuated units available), wellpoint pumps, jet pumps, and burners. For further information, call 1-888-997-PUMP.
