"GONE FISHIN!"
L to R, Holland Pump Vice President
Eugene Lant congratulates Gerald
Coker, Service Manager of the
Pensacola Branch on his retirement.
We are all sorry to see our good friend and colleague Gerald Coker, retire after 17 years at Holland Pump.
Gerald started in our West Palm Beach office in 1992 as a mechanic in the shop manufacturing wellpoint pumps. When a position opened in our Norfolk, Virginia branch, Gerald moved there, opening the branch in 2000 where he was the Service Manager. The position brought Gerald’s leadership and organizational abilities to the forefront and when in 2004, a new branch in Pensacola was proposed; Gerald felt the desire to “come home” to North West Florida.
Gerald has used his abilities most recently once more helping to establish the latest branch in Corsicana, Texas. Setting up the shop, organizing the office procedures, and getting the equipment up and ready for rental are his forte.
L to R, Tom Hyder Jr., Eugene Lant,
Shane Davis, Gerald Coker, and Matt
Hall of the Pensacola Branch are all
smiles in wishing their good friend
a long and happy retirement.
Gerald and his bride of 19 years, Marlene have bought a home in the town of Perry, Florida not far from their hometown of Greenville, to be close to their daughter and grandchildren, and Gerald’s favorite son-in-law Gary… he’s the one with the BIG FISHIN’ BOAT!
Congratulations Gerald, thanks for your hard work and wisdom over the years and enjoy the fishing.
